Techno Q completed its employee blood donation drive under the supervision of Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) Blood Donor Unit, as part of an ongoing corporate social responsibility programme. Techno Q initiated the donation drive after HMC's appeal in April 2012 for more volunteers to give blood. HMC provided a mobile donor station on Techno Q premises, complete with all necessary equipment to make the campaign a success. 

Managing Director of Techno Q, Zeyad Al Jaidah, who also donated blood on the day, said, "Techno Q organised this blood donation drive as part of our commitment to community outreach activities in Qatar. We strongly believe in the importance of social awareness and a spirit of giving back. I'm proud to say that our employees are eager to assume their responsibility towards community welfare, especially for a noble cause such as blood donation." 

Over 42 Techno Q employees participated in the campaign and a total of 19 units from all blood types were gathered. These units will support patients who are in urgent need of blood, particularly young patients with blood disorders, patients undergoing surgeries, trauma patients, and accident victims.
